Welcome

                                                                                                                         Wednesday 18th September

Dear Parents/Carers,

I wish to inform you that we will be welcoming our newly appointed principal, Mr. Darragh. Tighe, to our fantastic school community.

We are delighted for the new opportunities and leadership which he will bring to our school, and as a staff we look forward to meeting him in person over the coming days.

More details will follow as to when Mr. Darragh Tighe will officially take over his new role and duties, and I know that he has expressed how happy he is to be part of our St. Joseph’s P.S. Bessbrook.

Kind regards,

Mrs. Roisin Ward,

Chairperson

St. Joseph’s P.S. Bessbrook

Our football teams took part in our first blitz of the year this morning. The girls and boys displayed some fabulous football and team work during every match. A huge thank you to Carrickcruppen GAA for the use of their facilities and it was great to see a past pupil, Christian Cunningham, helping with the refereeing. A very sunny and successful morning for our footballers. Thanks to all our staff including Mrs Smith, Mrs Patton, Mrs Hadden, Miss Fearon and Mr Traynor for all their organisation and coaching. Maith sibh!

What a fantastic assembly the new Class Council delivered today! They had the whole school listening attentively as they delivered their plan for the year ahead! What a way to end our first month together! Thank you Mr Traynor and all the staff who helped make this possible!
Good luck to some of our fabulous pupils taking part in the Carrickcruppen LipSinc!
