Internet Safety Week Kicks Off with a Special Visit from Our Local Police Officers
We were delighted to welcome Constable Matt and Constable Mark from the Slieve Gullion Neighbourhood Policing Team as we launched our Internet Safety Week celebrations.
The officers spent the day with pupils from P.1 right through to P.7, delivering age appropriate sessions that helped our boys and girls understand how to stay safe online. From recognising trusted adults to learning how to make sensible choices on the internet, every class took away important messages that will support them at home and in school.
We are grateful to the Slieve Gullion Neighbourhood Policing Team for their continued support and for helping us empower our pupils to become confident, responsible digital citizens.
A fantastic start to Internet Safety Week, with plenty more learning and activities still to come.
