Gary our caretaker heard we were doing the topic of ‘Birds’ and kindly brought his homing pigeons in for a question and answer session with P2. We had been working on writing questions and this was the perfect opportunity to link ‘Literacy’ with ‘World Around Us’ writing down our questions and asking them. We found out lots of interesting facts about pigeons and even got to stroke these lovely birds!
