Primary 2 are exploring Fantasy Stories

This week in Literacy we have started exploring Fantasy Stories. Today the children investigated the features of a fantasy story: the use of magic, mythical creatures, good v evil etc. We watched clips from some well known fantasy stories including Alice in Wonderland and The Labyrinth. The children then sorted story sentences into fantasy or reality and then came up with some story ideas of their own.
