As part of our World Around Us topic on the Titanic, we held a class debate on who should have been saved first—women and children or if men should have had equal chances.

The children had lots of fun and it was great to see the different arguments they came up with. They used facts from their research and spoke with confidence, showing great thinking and teamwork.

It was a brilliant way to explore different points of view!
