Following the increased number of incidents of domestic abuse against women across Northern Ireland in the last year alone. We in St. Joseph’s dedicated one of our School Development training sessions in August to better understand how we as a school can be part of a much needed change across the province.
We were joined by Eileen Murphy CEO of Women’s Aid Armagh/Down and Fiona who also works in the Newry area for Women’s Aid. Throughout the year ahead we are going to fundraise for Women’s Aid and plan and deliver workshops to support the fantastic work they do.
